At Lime Toolbox LLC, we build tools that prioritize performance, security, and operator privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our stringent data practices. Our core philosophy is simple: we do not want your data, and we collect the absolute minimum required to keep our services running and secure.

1. Self-Hosted Software & Your Data

The majority of our products, including Intercom GX, are self-hosted by you. We do not have access to the data that flows through them.

  • No Audio or Transcript Access: We do not store, process, or transmit your audio streams or transcripts ever.
  • No Telemetry by Default: We do not store any user data or telemetry from our self-hosted apps unless you explicitly opt in (e.g., sharing crash logs or configurations for support).
  • Local Data Custody: The actual self-hosted product (Intercom GX Server) may store IP addresses and audio transcripts (if you enable them), but this happens entirely on the machine hosting it. This data remains strictly in your custody; Lime Toolbox LLC has zero access to or control over it.

2. Information We Collect

When interacting with our website or purchasing our software, we collect only minimal information:

  • Account & Purchase Data: We store minimal info, such as the email addresses associated with your software licenses, purchases, and subscriptions, to provide you with the services you paid for.
  • Security & IP Addresses: To prevent abuse and ensure the security of our licensing and web infrastructure, we collect IP addresses. However, we store your IP address in a hashed form to protect your privacy while maintaining our security perimeter. Furthermore, these hashed IP addresses are automatically purged from our systems after 30 days.
  • Financial Data: All payments are processed securely by our trusted third-party payment processors. We do not store or process your credit card numbers or financial details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly to:

  • Deliver the software licenses and subscription services you have requested.
  • Respond to your direct inquiries and support requests.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of our licensing systems.

4. Zero Data Selling

We are a software engineering company, not an advertising network. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise monetize your personal information to any third parties under any circumstances.

5. Service Providers

We employ trusted third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our website, process payments, and provide infrastructure (such as Cloudflare for web hosting and Stripe for payment processing). These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

6. Your User Rights

Depending on your location (such as under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
